What happens if I or my child fall over?

Falling over whilst skating:

Falling over whilst skating may happen. Perhaps quite a few times when you are first learning how to skate.

• If you are not hurt, please get up as quickly as possible to avoid other skaters falling over you.
  • We practise getting up and down quickly in some of our games.
• Don’t be embarrassed if you fall.
  • We have all fallen over at some point.
  • Don’t let it make you give up its part of learning how to skate.
• Staff or other skaters might ask if you are ok if they come past. A quick thumbs up or a smile helps us know you are OK.
• Learn to fall safely
• If your child falls over, please do not run or skate across the floor in the wrong direction. This may cause further incident. Be mindful of other skaters and the direction of travel.
