We hold family-friendly roller discos weekly at a number of venues in the West Midlands on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Our venues tend to be sports halls with good floors for roller skating, easy parking in easily accessible locations.
Currently, we offer sessions in Kings Norton, Stourbridge and Brierley Hill. In addition to these standard sessions, we deliver special SEND discos at Kings Norton and Stourbridge.
We are always happy to find out about other possible venues that you think might be suitable and popular to hold a roller disco. If you have any in mind please let us know.
Session Format:
All our roller discos follow a similar format. Our sessions are for all ages and abilities. A mix of general skating and games designed to help improve all levels of skating ability.
- The first part of the session is for general skating. This allows:
- People needing to hire skates time to get their skates before the games begins
- Allows new skaters to get used to skating before the games
- The second part of the session is a mixture of general skating and games.
We mix up some of the games from week to week and also have some seasonal games. If you have any ideas for new games we can play at or venues, please let us know.
Are there some weeks when you do not run?
When other events booked or maintenance planned prevent us from running a family roller disco:
- we will advise you when able.
- We will announce it over the microphone at the sessions the week before (subject to us being aware).
