Forms

If you contact us via our Contact Form(s) we collect the data shown in the comments form. This information will be sent to us in an email to allow us to respond to your request via email or phone. We will retain this information for a period of twelve months. We will also collect your IP address and Geolocation when a form is submitted this information will be retained for 30 days.

We will collect some information about you on our Waiver/Booking Form(s). This information is used for our insurance purposes, to enable us to admit attendees to our sessions and for us to contact you with regards to your booking if we need to. This information will be sent to us in an email to allow us to respond to your request via email or phone. We will retain this information for a period of twelve months. We will also collect your IP address and Geolocation when a form is submitted this information will be retained for 30 days.

Polls

If you respond to a Poll on our website we will retain the information provided in your submission for a period of six months and your IP address for a period of 30 days.

Quiz Submissions

Information collected from the submission of a Quiz will be retained for a period of 6 months.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Video or Photography

We may video small clips of people skating for use on our Facebook or Instagram pages or take photographs for our website or Facebook or Instagram pages.

When we are taking photographs for specific events like our Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme we will ask to make sure you are happy for us to do so. These photographs may be shared with the HAF provider we are working with who may use these photographs on their websites or social media pages.

When processing these photographs we will take measures to ensure other participants are not clearly visible in our pictures. We will never add information to make a child identifiable to others for example their names, ages or schools they attend.

Please let us know if you are uncomfortable with photographs of videos.

Other spectators or skaters should never be taking photographs or videos of other skaters.
