What we love about this venue:

  • This sports hall is now the largest of all our venues with a fast floor.
  • The hall is divided into two with removable dividers:
    • The larger half of the hall can be used for experienced skaters (when we say half – its still really big)
    • The slightly smaller half of the hall can be used for younger families and less experiences skaters. Our staff float between the two sides to make sure everyone is OK and having a great time throughout each session.
  • Free for parents or grandparents to spectate.
  • This venue is very popular with:
    • Learner Skaters (of all ages)
    • Less confident Skaters and very experience Skaters
    • Adult Skaters
    • Families

Roller Disco General Information:

  • If you have your own skates please do not enter or leave the sports hall wearing them. This is the same for hire skates. If you need to visit the toilets mid session please take your skates off before leaving the hall and put them back on when you return.
  • Please arrive promptly. During very busy times of the year you may be turned away if you arrive late and the session if full. Also arriving promptly gives everybody more time to play games between general skating.
  • If you bring your own drinks, please try to use a spill proof container. In the event of a spillage, please notify a member of staff so that we can locate paper rolls to mop it up.
  • There is usually a bin in the corner of the hall or just outside the hall and would appreciate you disposing of any rubbish appropriately as you leave.
  • Because our families like to spectate we provide seating at the top and bottom of the hall for spectators and skaters to sit on. Please do not sit or leave bags on the long walls to the left and right of the hall as these need to be kept free to allow skaters to skate.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff

18/04/2025

My children visited on Monday as part of the HAF programme. They loved it so much they booked again for Thursday. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and the hall is huge. The games were also a massive hit! We will be coming again. Highly recommend.

The best around!!

We have been coming to Rollers for over a year now. What can I say? It’s just an amazing experience! So much fun whether you’re skating or just watching. I started taking my 2 children initially never even thinking I would start skating again but now the whole family skates and we look forward to our weekends! The team are just incredible and cater for all abilities. We it love that much that we go to 3 sessions every weekend now. Once you start you catch the ‘Skating bug’ straight away and just want to come back. It’s not just skating to us, it’s like an extended family we love to see week in week out. My eldest son had confidence issues before coming and the change in him has been unbelievable. He is a different boy, he is loved by the team and the skaters alike. We have all met some lovely people who we now call friends. Thank you Rollers, we love you!!

Marley and me

10/06/2024

Well we’ll what can I say, been following Rollers Roller around lol. I’m a old school skater which this has brought back my skills to continue with my little Marley. He seen me skate and said dad I want some skates so I brought him some. It’s the best thing I have ever done. By coming roller skating it’s brought little man out of his shell. He has more confidence which is taking him to the next level. From quads to inline skates his is like a pro. We call ourselves the skating family we all get on with each other which this is what you want for your children. I love the vibe every time so what are you waiting for let’s get your skates on and dance 🕺 ✨️ 🎶. Thanks to all the staff who make it happen.

My friend asked me to go a couple of months back and i hadnt skated since the mid 80s so i was rather hesitant at first but i just took my great nephew one week and been a regular ever since . Its the best thing i have done in ages . Saturdays are the highlight of the week now . I have encouraged alot of friends to come and they all love meeting up and having a blast . Everyone is at hand to help new skaters and the people who run the place are lovely . Simply A place for nice people run by nice people 😁 Top Dj as well who plays a great selection of old and new music and plays whatever people ask for . Dont miss out come along and catch the skate bug 🙏🏻 you will not regret it

Great place to skate, separate area for learner skaters or to practice some new skills

09/06/2024

The floor is fast. There are two separate areas. One for confident skaters and one to practice your new tricks and skills or learn to skate. All the skaters are so friendly and love to skate. The games are great for all ages. Great music and really good exercise.
